My wife and I just completed the 52km hike, it was 3 full days. The full meal deal requires some good cardio, and willingness to have sore legs for a couple days!

My family did the 12 kilometers hike from the visitor centre to refugee cove in one day, and then came back the next.

Shorter options are available to you with day trips, or 1 and 2 day hikes as well.

The campsite: Our campsite was wonderful; RC3. Good flat spot to pitch the tent, shaded, and close to the outhouse. Unfortunately that cannot be said for all the sites, some had broken picnic benches (a luxury to have at all in the backcountry), and no spot for a tent. Best of all, there was a nice clear stream nearby for us to filter our water.

I give it 5 stars for its beauty. 5 stars for how well kept it is. 5 stars for getting away from it all...and just being with nature.

We just did a short walk from the trail to the beach. It is such a beautiful area overlooking the bay of Fundy. The staff was so approachable and gave us clear briefing of where we are. We had to register our car's plate number for accountability. I find this hiking area safe . Hoping to hike the 52 km. trail next year.

Nice park. My son and I went for three days during the week in June very few people on the trail. Beautiful woods on the plateua. Left from Red Rocks and went to Refuge Cove. For me the climbs out of the river valleys were tough but doable and were well worth it (my son had no problem). We enjoyed the place be sure to grab a bite to eat when you come out at Wild Caraway

The trail: For the first section we cut off 1.5 km by going along the beach, and then up the stairs to the main trail. The climbing in and out of the gulches was extremely tiring. Going down into Mill Brook and Refugee Cove was a strait access road, with a 30 or more percent grade. This was the worst part of the trail. On the plateaus in between the coves and streams, were flat sections that were very enjoyable.

Wrap up: Extremely challenging 24k return hike, some decent campsites.
